Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vývoj pojetí dětství od středověku do dvacátého století. Vychází z konceptu dětství jako sociálního konstruktu a krátce popisuje jeho dnešní vymezení. Hlavní část práce řeší v období středověku otázku, zda pojetí dětství vůbec existovalo. Přičemž za minimální podmínku pro existenci je považováno vědomé diferencování dospělosti a dětství. Následně práce hledá a popisuje novověké zdroje dnešního pojetí dětství. Závěrem se zaměřuje na oblast práva a pedagogiky ve dvacátém století, v nichž pozoruje vyústění sledovaných změn.
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the evolution of the concept of childhood from the Middle Ages to the twentieth century. It is based on the concept of childhood as a social construction and it shortly describes present definition of childhood. In the Middle Ages the main part deals with the question of the existence of the concept. The minimum condition for the existence is a conscious awareness of the difference between adulthood and childhood. Then the thesis analyses the modern sources of present concept of childhood. Finally, it focuses on the legislation and the pedagogy in the twentieth century and there it observes the outcome of changes.
