Abstract
Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám islámem a muslimy v západní Evropě.V první části uvádím základní informace k islámu jako náboženství. Dále práce pojednává o rozmístění muslimů ve světě a Evropě. V práci poukazuji na islamizaci a extremismus. S těmito pojmy souvisejí útoky teroristických skupin a radikálů. V západní Evropě jsem se zaměřila na tři vybrané státy - Francie, Velká Británie a Německo. Ve zmiňovaných státech poukazuji na počty muslimů, snahu států zlepšit jejich ekonomickou situaci, zvýšit kvalifikaci pomocí vzdělání a pokus začlenit muslimy do moderní evropské společnosti. U každého z vybraných států zmiňuji místní muslimské organizace. Na závěr poukazuji na situaci v České republice.
This thesis focuses mainly on Islam and Muslims in Western Europe. At first I mention basic information about Islam as a religion. This paper further dealswith the deployment of Muslims in the world and Europe. I also talk about the extremism and Islamization.These concepts arerelated to attacks by terrorist groups and radicals. In western Europe, I focused on three selected states - France, United Kingdom and Germany. In the mentioned countries, I point to the numbers of Muslims, efforts of the state to improve their economic situation, enhance skills through education and attempt to integrate Muslims into modern European society. I mention a local Muslim organisation for each selected state. In conclusion, I point to the situation in the Czech Republic.
