dc.description.abstractThe thesis describes development of hand-made paper technology and use this technology in restoring books. The theoretic parts of the thesis foreshadows paper production in separate epochs of our history and at the same time it talks about one of possible mode used for restoring books at the present time. The next part deals with experiment, where possible changes in strength properties of paper in dependence on applied vibration by self productions are examined. The thesis deals also with an idea to strengthen the paper owing to vibration application on wet layer of fibers, which is at the same time main objectives of this thesis. This part of thesis discusses changes of strength properties of paper at stress in dry and wet state, in consequence of applied vibrations. At the same time the thesis discusses about the application of vibration method for restoring books.en
dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce popisuje vývoj technologie ruční výroby papíru a využití této technologie při restaurování knih. V teoretické části nastiňuje pracovní postupy při výrobě papíru v jednotlivých obdobích našich dějin a zároveň hovoří o některých z možných technik používaných v současnosti pro restaurování knih. V experimentální části zkoumá možné změny pevnostních vlastností papíru v závislosti na aplikovaných vibracích při samotné výrobě. Zabývá se myšlenkou možného zvýšení pevnosti papíru vlivem aplikace vibrací na mokrou vlákennou vrstvu, což je současně cílem této práce. Diskutuje o změně pevnostních vlastností při namáhání papíru v suchém i mokrém stavu, v důsledku působení vibrací. Současně diskutuje o uplatnění metody aplikace vibrací při restaurování knih.cs
