Abstract
Předmětem této bakalářské práce je popis různých podob karnevalu ve světě a v Evropě. V první kapitole práce předkládá pohled na karneval jako na kulturní fenomén. Vymezuje vzájemný vztah Velikonoc a masopustu a popisuje lidovou smíchovou kulturu podle M. M. Bachtina. Druhá kapitola se zabývá kořeny karnevalu a popisuje jeho kulturně-antropologický i psychologický význam. Třetí kapitola práce předkládá deskripci nejznámějších a kulturně nejdůležitějších svátků, ale i realizace méně známé a dosud nepublikované. Na těchto vybraných konkrétních oslavách i na těch historických práce ilustruje stěžejní znaky karnevalů, jejich význam, podobnosti a odlišnosti v jednotlivých částech světa.
The subject of this bachelor thesis consists in a description of the different forms of carnivals in the world and in Europe. In the first chapter, the thesis emphasizes a perspective of the carnival as a cultural phenomenon. It defines a mutual relation between Easter and Shrovetide and it also describes the culture of popular laughter according to M. M. Bachtin. The second chapter conducts a survey of the carnival's historical roots and it describes its cultural-anthropological and psychological significance. It the third chapter, the thesis presents a description of the most familiar and culturally the most significant feast days, but also the less known and not yet published ones. On these representative realizations, and the historical ones, the crucial characteristics of carnivals, its importance, similarities and differences all over the world are illustrated.
