dc.description.abstract	Cílem bakalářské práce je přeložit povídky Podříznutá slepice a Po proudu z Quirogovy sbírky Povídky o lásce, smrti a šílenství a upozornit na problémy, které se během překladu vyskytly. První část se zabývá teorií překladu a řeší zejména typy překladu, ekvivalenci, proces překladu a překladatelské postupy. Dále práce pojednává o životě samotného autora a uvádí vybrané dílo do literárně-historického kontextu. Praktická část je věnována překladu vybraných povídek do českého jazyka a komentáři k překladu. Komentář k překladu představuje hlavní část práce a analyzuje postup překladu a úskalí, jež se při překladu díla uruguayského autora vyskytly.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The aim of this bachelor thesis is to translate the stories The Decapitated Chicken and Adrift which are part of the book Tales of Love, Madness and Death, written by Horacio Quiroga and to point out the problems that appeared during the translation. The first part deals with the theory of translation and describes especially the types of translation, equivalence, translation process and translation techniques. Next part mentions the author and his life and situates selected work into literary and historical context. The practical part is dedicated to the translation of the two stories into the Czech language and the annotation. The annotation is the main part of this thesis and analyses the translating procedure and problems that emerged during the translation of the work of this Uruguayan author.	en
