Abstract
Liberec - the „capital city of Czech Germans“ - is
famous fi rst of all for German speaking architects, but no less interesting
creations were built thanks to initiative of the state and local Czech minority
groups of so called “bordermen”. This study helps to understand a not very well
explored topic of the Czech “peripheral“ architecture in border regions.
