Abstract
Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo přiblížit prostředí vodního záchranného sportu, který je v České republice stále poměrně neznámým. Bakalářská práce se zabývá jeho historickým vývojem ve světě i na našem území, analýzou soutěží a disciplín vodního záchranářství jako sportu. Další část práce je věnována problematice spojené s nedostatečným financováním tohoto sportu, které mimo jiné způsobuje nedostatek speciálních záchranářských pomůcek, jež jsou k tomuto sportu potřebné. V závěrečné části práce je věnována pozornost především bariérám bránícím vodnímu záchrannému sportu v jeho dalším rozvoji a zároveň příležitostem, jež by tomuto sportovnímu odvětví dopomohly v rozšíření do povědomí širší veřejnosti.
The main goal of the thesis was to approach water rescue sport, which is still relatively unknown in the Czech Republic. This bachelor thesis deals with the historic development of water rescue service and water rescue sport both in the world and in our country, analysis of competitions and disciplines of water rescue as a sport. The next part of the thesis is devoted to problems connected with insufficient financing of this sport which among other things causes a lack of special rescue equipment that is needed for this sport. In the final part of the thesis, attention is paid especially to barriers preventing water rescue sport in its further development and at the same time opportunities that would help this sport sector to expand into the wider public awareness.
