Abstract
Teorie regionálního rozvoje jsou dnes součástí směrů ekonomického myšlení. K teoriím regionálního rozvoje se začíná obracet větší pozornost zhruba v druhé polovině 20. století, kdy v tomto období dochází k růstu významu samotných regionů. Mezi těmito regiony však byly velké ekonomické rozdíly. Ekonomické směry se snažily tyto rozdíly vysvětlit, v důsledku čehož vznikly teorie regionálního rozvoje. V této diplomové práci jsou komparovány čtyři teorie regionálního rozvoje, které byly vybrány jakožto zástupci jednotlivých ekonomických směrů, aby bylo možno zjistit rozdíly mezi těmito přístupy. Dále pak jsou tyto teorie komparovány se Strategií rozvoje Libereckého kraje za účelem zjištění, zda byla při její tvorbě využita některá z vybraných teorií, či byla-li při její tvorbě alespoň inspirací.
Theories of regional development are now part of economic thinking. The regional development theories are starting to turn more attention in the second half of the 20th century, when the importance of the regions themselves is growing in this period. However, there were large economic differences between these regions. Economic trends have tried to explain these differences, which has led to the emergence of regional development theories. This thesis compares four theories of regional development that have been selected as representatives of individual economic directions in order to identify the differences between these approaches. Furthermore, these theories are compared with the Development Strategy of the Liberec Region in order to determine if some of the selected theories were used in its creation or if its creation was inspired at least.
