Abstract
Diplomová práce je zaměřena na moderní a tradiční metody hodnocení finanční výkonnosti podniku. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení finanční výkonnosti vybraného subjektu prostřednictvím analýzy současného stavu podnikání a aplikování vybraných tradičních a moderních metod hodnocení finanční výkonnosti. První část práce charakterizuje na základě literární rešerše vybrané pojmy související s podnikem a měřením jeho výkonnosti se zaměřením na finanční výkonnost. V rámci této části jsou podrobně popsány tradiční a moderní metody hodnocení finanční výkonnosti podniku. Praktická část práce představuje zvolený subjekt, jímž je společnost Benteler ČR s. r. o., a zabývá se aplikací vybraných metod hodnocení finanční výkonnosti na tento podnik za sledované období 2015 až 2019. Následuje shrnutí zjištěných výsledků pomocí finančních i nefinančních ukazatelů a představení návrhů a doporučení pro podnik. Hlavním doporučením pro podnik je zveřejnit vizi a misi, tedy informace o tom, co společnost dělá a proč to dělá a jaké má představy o svém budoucím směru. Vhodné by také bylo začít poskytovat zaměstnancům další dnes již běžně poskytované benefity.
The diploma thesis is focused on modern and traditional methods of evaluating the financial performance of a company. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the financial performance of a selected company through the analysis of the current state of business and the application of selected traditional and modern methods of financial performance evaluation. The first part of the thesis characterizes, based on a literature search, selected terms related to the company and measuring its performance with a focus on financial performance. This section describes in detail the traditional and modern methods of evaluating the financial performance of the company. The practical part of this thesis presents a selected subject, which is the company Benteler ČR s. r. o. and deals with the application of selected methods of financial performance evaluation to this company for the period 2015 to 2019. The following is a summary of the results using financial and non-financial indicators. The main recommendation for the company is to publish a vision and mission, meaning information about what the company is doing and why it is doing it and what ideas it has about its future direction. It would also be appropriate to start providing employees with other benefits that are now commonly provided.
