dc.description.abstractAnotationTopic: The comparison of One Hundred Years of Solitude and The House of the SpiritsOne Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Márquez and The House of Spirits by Isabel Allende are family sagas that have many things in common. The stories are set in South America in an approximately similar period. Both novels can be classified as magical realism, which is typical for Latin American authors and is described in the first part of this thesis. The following, second, part is devoted to comparison of the novel One Hundred Years of Solitude to Garcia's autobiography from two different points of view: historical events and important characters. Allende's biography and her novel The House of Spirits are evaluated just in a similar way in the third part. At the end of the thesis, there is a comparison of the two novels. Similarities of key characters are described and common themes are analyzed in the last part.en
dc.description.abstractAnotaceTéma: Porovnání děl Sto roků samoty a Dům duchůSto roků samoty od Gabriela Garcíi Márqueze a Dům Duchů od Isabel Allende jsou rodinné ságy, které mají mnoho společného. Odehrávají se na území Jižní Ameriky zhruba ve stejné době a v podobném časovém rozpětí. Obě díla lze žánrově zařadit do magického realismu. Jedná se o literární směr typický pro Jižní Ameriku, který je detailněji popsán v první části práce. Druhá část práce je věnována porovnání díla Sto roků samoty s autobiografií Gabriela Garcíi Márqueze ve dvou aspektech: historické události a důležité postavy. Podobným způsobem je ve třetí části srovnáno dílo Dům duchů od Isabel Allende s jejím životopisem. Závěrečná část práce se zabývá vlastní komparací těchto dvou románů. Popisuje podobnosti mezi klíčovými postavami a také analyzuje témata, která se v obou románech vyskytujícs
