dc.description.abstractThe work describes the problem of single currency. Specifically, it deals with the acceptance of the euro in Portugal and this is applied to the Czech republic in a way, that deduces possible implications and consequences resultant from it. At the beginning are set hypotheses, that are verified or disproved in conclusion. The first chapter describes theory connected with practise. Another chapter of the work analyzes the economic situation together in the Czech Republic and Portugal in the period before 2001 (adoption of the euro in Portugal) and after this year.The third chapter consists analysis of the Portuguese economy before and after the adoption of the euro and resulting implications for the Czech Republic.The following fourth chapter deals with the issues of adopting euro in terms of information systems of banks and financial institutions, how the financial institutions and banks in Czech Republic will have to prepare on this transition.The final part evaluates the hypotheses and the work.en
dc.description.abstractPráce popisuje problematiku jednotné měny. Konkrétně se zabývá přijetím eura v Portugalsku a tuto problematiku aplikuje na Českou republiku tím způsobem, že vyvozuje možné implikace a důsledky z toho plynoucí. Na začátku jsou stanoveny hypotézy, které jsou v závěru ověřeny nebo vyvráceny. První kapitola popisuje teorii spjatou s popisovanou praxí. Následující část práce analyzuje společně ekonomickou situaci v ČR a Portugalsku v období před rokem 2001 (přijetí eura v Portugalsku) a po tomto roce. Třetí kapitolu tvoří analýza portugalské ekonomiky před i po zavedení eura a z toho plynoucí implikace pro ČR. Čtvrtá kapitola se zabývá problematikou přijetí eura z hlediska IS bank a finančních institucí, jak se na tento přechod musí připravit finanční instituce a banky v ČR. Závěrečná část vyhodnocuje hypotézy a celou práci.cs
