Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou overturismu a jeho dopady na prostředí Barcelony. Cílem práce je analyzovat projevy nadměrného cestovního ruchu, jeho vliv na město, životní prostředí a místní obyvatele a následně zhodnotit opatření přijatá městem ke zmírnění těchto negativních důsledků. Teoretická část se věnuje obecnému vymezení pojmu overturismus, jeho příčinám, projevům a důsledkům. Praktická část je zaměřena na konkrétní projevy overturismu v Barceloně, přičemž jsou sledovány prostorové dopady, environmentální zátěž i reakce místní komunity. Závěrem je navržena vlastní strategie pro efektivnější řízení cestovního ruchu ve městě, která vychází z identifikovaných problémů a dosavadních regulačních přístupů. Práce využívá kombinaci statistických údajů, odborných studií i dostupných dat z veřejných zdrojů.
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of overtourism and its impacts on the environment of Barcelona. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the manifestations of excessive tourism, its effects on the city, the environment, and local residents, and to evaluate the measures adopted by the city to mitigate these negative consequences. The theoretical part defines the concept of overtourism, its causes, manifestations and consequences. The practical part focuses on specific signs of overtourism in Barcelona, with attention paid to spatial impacts, environmental burden, and the reactions of the local community. In conclusion, a personal strategy is proposed for more effective tourism management in the city, based on the identified problems and existing regulatory approaches. The thesis is based on a combination of statistical data, scholarly studies, and information from publicly available sources.
