Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje americkému politickému systému. Jejím cílem je přesně a srozumitelně vysvětlit způsob vládnutí ve Spojených státech amerických. V úvodu se práce zaměří na stěžejní pojmy, potřebné pro další výklad. V následujících kapitolách podrobně představí politický systém Spojených států amerických, kde rozebere tři složky moci, vysvětlí její dělbu a systematicky je popíše. Dále představí politické strany, stranický systém a volební systém. Každá relevantní složka podílející se na tvorbě politiky bude podrobně rozebrána. Na závěr práce dojde k celkovému shrnutí a analýze, kde se objektivně popíšou pozitivní a negativní stránky amerického politického systému.
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the American political system. Its objective is to explain in an accurate and understandable manner the way the United States of America is governed. In the introduction, the thesis will focus on the core terminology needed for further explanation. In the following chapters, it will present the political system of the United States of America in detailed manner, where it will analyze the three branches of power, describe them systematically, and explain their division. It will also introduce the political parties, the party system and electoral system. Each relevant component involved in policy making will be discussed in depth. The thesis will conclude with an overall summary and analysis, where the positives and negatives will be objectively described.
