Abstract
Práce se zabývá problematikou využívání příspěvku na péči u seniorů nad 65 let. Jejím cílem je zjistit, zda nabídka terénních sociálních služeb ve městě Liberec odpovídá požadavkům seniorů, zda informovanost o těchto službách je dostačující a dále v jaké míře využívají senioři příspěvek na péči na nákup terénních sociálních služeb. Práci tvoří dvě stěžejní části. Jedná se o část teoretickou, která pomocí zpracování a prezentace odborných zdrojů popisuje, co je stáří, jak vypadá, co přináší stáří pro rodinu, jaké možnosti má senior, který žije sám v domácnosti. Na úhradu péče má sloužit příspěvek na péči, jemuž je věnována významná pozornost v části teoretické i praktické. Pro praktickou část byly využity poznatky z dotazníku, jenž byl určen seniorům nad 65 let pobírajících příspěvek na péči v I. a ve II. stupni. Zpracované poznatky by měly vést k určitým možným opatřením, především v oblasti samotného vyplácení příspěvku na péči v I.a ve II. stupni, a dále zajištění informovanosti samotných seniorů o službách, které jsou v Liberci nabízeny. Za největší přínos práce, vzhledem k řešené problematice, je možné považovat zjištění, že příspěvek na péči je respondenty chápán spíše jako přilepšení k důchodu než jako prostředky určené na nákup sociálních služeb.
This thesis is focused on the issue of actual use of social care benefits among the seniors 65 years old and above. The main goal is to identify whether the supply of the field social care services within the Liberec reflects the demands of the seniors, whether the information about these services are well spread within the target group and to which extent seniors are taking advantage of the social care benefit for a purchase of the field social care services. The thesis is divided in two main parts. The first part is summarizing the theoretical literature, defining and describing the social dimension of aging and its impact on the family. Further it brings the examples of practical solutions for single seniors in theirs own households. In both parts - theoretical and practical the main emphasis is being put on the social care benefit and its role in the budget of the households of single seniors. In the practical part there have been analyzed outcomes from a questionnaire, that was taken among the seniors 65 years old and above and which are classified for social care benefits on 1st and 2nd level. The analysis should become an essential support document for further changes in the social care polices, especially in the case of distribution of the benefits for seniors classified for the 1st and 2nd level and further as an feedback about the general awareness among the seniors about the possible field social care services that are available in Liberec. The main contribution of this thesis, concerning this issue, is the fact that the social care benefit is perceived more as a bonus to the pension than a benefit for a purchase of field social care services.
