dc.description.abstract	Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat výskyt rasových urážek v textech rapových písní západního pobřeží. Klíčové pojmy (rasismus, rasové urážky, nigga, diss track) jsou definovány. V rámci výzkumu je využita korpusová analýza, která systematicky zkoumá texty vybraných rapových písní. Tato metoda umožňuje kvantitativní hodnocení toho, jak jsou rasové nadávky distribuovány a jak se jejich použití liší v různých písních od různých umělců v žánru rapu ze západního pobřeží. Po analýze korpusu je provedena diskurzivní analýza písní Hit 'Em Up od 2Paca a Bands od OhGeesyho. Účelem této analýzy je prozkoumat aplikaci rasových urážek v písních. To zahrnuje zkoumání záměru jejich použití, vztahu mezi adresorem, adresátem a publikem a širšího kulturního a historického kontextu, ve kterém texty vznikaly. Kombinací těchto dvou analytických přístupů práce poskytuje vhled do toho, jak rasové urážky fungují jako jazykové i sociální nástroje v rapové hudbě a zdůrazňuje jejich vyvíjející se význam v žánru.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse the occurrence of racial slurs in the lyrics of West Coast rap songs. Key terms (racism, racial slurs, nigga, diss track) are defined. As a part of the research, corpus analysis is used, which systematically examines the lyrics of selected rap songs. This method enables a quantitative evaluation of how racial slurs are distributed and how their usage differs in various songs by different artists in the West Coast rap genre. After the corpus analysis, a discourse analysis is carried out on the songs Hit 'Em Up by 2Pac and Bands by OhGeesy. The purpose of this analysis is to explore the application of racial slurs in the songs. This includes examining the intention of their use, the relationship between the addressor, addressee, audience, and the broader cultural and historical context in which the lyrics were created. By combining these two analytical approaches, the thesis provides insight into how racial slurs function as both linguistic and social tools in rap music and emphasizes their evolving significance in the genre.	en
