dc.description.abstract	The diploma thesis is focused on our central financial institution ? Czech National Bank. It brings overview of its long and compelling history, since its foundation in 1926 until the recent uneasy time of economic crisis. The main focal point of the thesis lies in the monetary policy enforced by the Czech National Bank. In this regard the thesis deals in more detail with the key monetary instruments of the bank, thei application for the solution of problems of the Czech economy. Special attention is paid to successful actions by CNB during monetary turbulences in 1997 with a considerable positive contribution by the bak to the final solution. The final third of the thesis describes the supervision over financial markets in the Czech Republic in the context of European financial policy, which is organized by the Czech National Bank. Final chapter covers up-to-date only short information about the possibility of the Czech Republic introduction into the euro area.	en
dc.description.abstract	Tato diplomová práce pojednává o naší centrální finanční instituci ? České národní bance. Přináší přehled o její dlouhé a pestré historii, od založení v roce 1926 až po dnešní neklidnou dobu ekonomické krize. Těžiště díla je však v měnové politice České národní banky. Značná část práce je věnována hlavním měnovým instrumentům banky, jejich použití při řešení hospodářských problémů české ekonomiky. Zvláště je popsána pozitivní účast České národní banky při zvládnutí měnových turbulencí v roce 1997, na jejichž nakonec dobrém výsledku se tato instituce výrazně podílela. Závěrečná třetina práce popisuje dohled nad finančními trhy v České republice v kontextu evropské finanční politiky, který organizuje Česká národní banka. Poslední kapitola přináší aktuální, jen stručné informace o možnostech přistoupení České republiky k eurozóně.	cs
