Abstract
Bakalářská práce se zabývá vládou makedonského generála Perdikka jako regenta říše Alexandra Velikého mezi lety 323-320 př. n. l. Zaměřuje se na metody, jakými se Perdikkás chopil moci a uplatňoval svůj vliv nad říší. Publikace objasňuje příčiny regentových činů a ambice, které se jimi snažil naplnit. Práce vysvětluje okolnosti vypuknutí první války diadochů, její průběh a dopady na další vývoj Alexandrovy říše. Cílem práce je objasnit Perdikkův podíl na dějinných událostech po roce 323 př. n. l. a charakterizovat jeho postavení mezi ostatními diadochy.
Praktickou část práce tvořilo studium dostupných historických pramenů a jejich komparace s odbornou literaturou věnující se probíranému tématu.
The thesis deals with the reign of the Macedonian general Perdiccas as regent of Alexander the Great's empire between 323-320 BC. It focuses on the methods by which Perdiccas seized power and exerted his influence over the empire. The publication sheds light on the reasons for the regent's actions and on the ambitions he sought to fulfill through them. The work explains the circumstances of the outbreak of the First Diadochian War, its course and its impact on the further development of Alexander's empire. The aim of the thesis is to clarify Perdiccas' contribution to the historical events after 323 BC and to characterize his position among the other diadochi. The practical part of the thesis consisted of the study of available historical sources and their comparison with the literature on the discussed topic.
