Abstract
Diplomová práce pojednává o poetice pěti cestopisů Karla Čapka o Italských listech, Anglických listech, Výletu do Španěl, Obrázcích z Holandska a Cestě na sever. Po nastínění žánru cestopisu a jeho vývoje je pozornost zaměřena na Čapkovo pojetí cestopisu. Druhá část diplomové práce se s oporou i sekundární i primární literaturu snaží postihnout poetiku Čapkových cestopisů s důrazem na jazykovou rovinu.
The diploma thesis deals with the poetics of five travel books by Karel Čapek Letters from Italy, Letters from England, Letters from Spain, Letters from Holland and Travels in the North. After describing the travel book genre and its progression, the focus is on the concept of the travel book genre by Čapek. The second part of the diploma thesis, with the support of secondary and primary literature, tries to cover the poetics of Čapek travelogues with an emphasis on the language level.
