Abstract
Diplomová práce se zabývá finanční analýzou společnosti Pivovar Nová Paka a.s. Práce je rozdělena do dvou logicky provázaných celků, přičemž v první teoretické části je kladen důraz na podstatu finanční analýzy, určení jejích uživatelů, zhodnocení možných rizik při jejím sestavování, zdrojích, z kterých jsou čerpány nezbytné informace, a konečně deskripci jednotlivých ukazatelů. Následuje praktická implementace teoretických poznatků na konkrétní společnost, kdy je provedena analýza jednotlivých účetních výkazů, následné sestavení ukazatelů finanční analýzy a jejich soustav a vyhodnocení získaných dat porovnáním s konkurenčním podnikem a odvětvovými průměry. V neposlední řadě je shrnuta celková situace podniku, provedena identifikace možných rizik a navržena doporučení ke zlepšení situace v budoucnu.
The diploma thesis addresses the matter of financial analysis for the company Brewery Nová Paka, Co. The thesis is divided into two logically interconnected parts. In the first theoretical section the main emphasis is put onto the substance of financial analysis, identification of its users, evaluation of possible risks during its formation, sources of information necessary for the formation, and on top of that on description of most well-known ratios. This first part is followed up by a practical implementation of theoretical finding onto a selected company. At first the analysis of accounting statements is carried out, followed up by the formation of financial ratios and its selected sets. Furthermore, the acquired data are evaluated in relation to a selected competitor and sectoral averages. Last but not least, the overall financial situation of the company is summed up, together with the identification of possible risks and suggestions of recommendations for improvement of the company's financial situation in the future.
