Abstract
Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na prvotní průzkum štěstí z hlediska geografie v Česku a jeho porovnání se stavem ve světě. V první části je kladen důraz na prvotní konceptualizaci pojmu štěstí na půdě psychologie, ekonomie a filozofie. Druhá část, pojmenována Geografie štěstí se věnuje smyslu studia štěstí na pozadí geografie. Úvodní část je věnován zakladateli vědy o štěstí Ruutu Veenhovenovi, jeho World database of happiness (světová databáze štěstí) a jednotlivým indikátorům, které sám zavádí. V další části je popsáno, jakým způsobem pracuje se štěstím OSN a jak řadí jednotlivé státy podle dosažení pocitů štěstí. Závěr je věnován situaci v ČR, přesněji Jablonci nad Nisou, kde proběhl průzkum týkající se spokojenosti se životem obyvatel města.
The thesis focuses on an initial survey of happiness in terms of geography in the Czech Republic and its comparison with the situation in the world. In the first part the focus is on the initial conceptualization of the concept of happiness within psychology, economics and philosophy. The second part, named Geography of happiness is devoted to study the meaning of happiness in the background of geography. The first part is dedicated to the founder of the science of happiness Ruut Veenhoven, a World Database of Happiness (World Happiness Database) and individual indicators, which introduces itself. The next section describes how the UN works with happiness and ranks as the states by achieving feelings of happiness. The conclusion is devoted to the situation in the Czech Republic, specifically Jablonec nad Nisou, surveyed regarding satisfaction with life of its inhabitants.
