Abstract
The bachelor work deals with the optical anisotropy of crystallic substances. The first part is devoted to an introduction to optics, light polarization, optical elements and anisotropy. The practical part deals with the experimental determination of the optical axes of uniaxial anisotropic materials using the B. Halle Axiscope optical device. Several phase plates were experimentally examined, their optical axes were distinguished and the assumptions were confirmed. Everything was recorded by a camera and finally the laboratory task for students at the Department of Physics in TUL was created.
