Abstract
Tato práce se zabývá problematikou časné intervence a rané péče u jedinců s Downovým syndromem. Cílem této práce je popsat intervenci a nabízené a využívané formy rané péče o jedince s Downovým syndromem. V teoretické části se věnuje všeobecně Downovu syndromu, rodině dítěte s Downovým syndromem, lékařské i speciálně pedagogické intervenci a rané péči. Praktická část práce nabízí rozhovory s matkami dětí s Downovým syndromem se zaměřením na raný věk. Dále také rozhovory s pracovnicemi sociální služby rané péče, které měly a mají v péči děti s Downovým syndromem a jejich rodiny. Následně pak uvádíme doporučení pro praxi vycházející z rozhovorů.
This thesis deals with the issue of early intervention and early care for individuals with Down syndrome. The aim of this thesis is to describe the intervention and the offered and used forms of early care for individuals with Down syndrome. The theoretical part focuses on Down syndrome in general, the family of a child with Down syndrome, medical and special educational intervention and early care. The practical part of the thesis includes interviews with mothers of children with Down syndrome, focusing on the early age. Also interviews with workers from social service of early care who had and still have children with Down syndrome and their families in their care. Subsequently, we present recommendations for practice based on the interviews.
