Abstract
Šikana je v současné době závažným společenským problémem, který postihuje naše školství. Dle statistik stoupá nejen počet šikanovaných dětí, ale dokonce i pedagogů. Řada škol není schopna tento nežádoucí jev řešit, častým důvodem bývá špatná informovanost žáků, rodičů a nedostatečná primární prevence. Osobní zkušenost zejména práce školního preventisty přivedla autora k tomu, že se tímto nežádoucím jevem zabývá hlouběji prostřednictvím své diplomové práce. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na vysvětlení základních pojmů a jevů spojených s šikanou na školách. Praktická část se věnuje zjišťování výskytu šikany u vybraného souboru žáků 2. stupně na školách městského a vesnického typu v okrese Cheb. Za pomoci dotazníkového šetření se snaží poukázat na charakteristické rysy a frekvenci výskytu šikany, zároveň zjišťuje postoje adolescentů k projevům šikanování ve škole.
The bullying is currently serious social problem that affects our education. According to statistics is rising not only the number of bullied children, but also pedagogues. Many schools are unable to solve this undesirable phenomenon. The frequent reason is low awareness of pupils and parents and insufficient primary prevention. My personal experience, especially the work of the school preventer, has led me to deal with this undesirable phenomenon deeper through my diploma thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on explanation of basic concepts and phenomena associated with the bullying in schools. The practical part deals with detecting the occurrence of bullying in the selected group of second-grade pupils at municipal and country schools in the district Cheb. The using of questionnaire survey is trying to point out characteristic features and frequency of bullying, also detects the attitudes of adolescents towards bullying at school.
