dc.description.abstract	The project aims to address the current unsatisfactory situation of historically protected buildings in the area of the former locomotive depot of the Masaryk Station and create here Railway Museum for National Technical Museum in Prague. Further addressing connections within the city structure and in this area, which is now almost impenetrable. At present, the objects are very dilapidated. Besides historically protected buildings are in the area many blind tracks, parking lots and temporary buildings. A serious problem of the area is destruction by transport projects of north-south highway and Vítkov elevated railway. The project provides for the preservation of both transportation projects because of their necessity in the transport skeleton. Advantage of the area is its location, close to the historic city center and the historical continuity of the royal foot paths.	en
dc.description.abstract	Cílem projektu je řešení stávajícího neuspokojivého stavu historicky chráněných objektů v areálu bývalého lokomotivového depa Masarykova nádraží pro funkci Železničního muzea Národního technického muzea v Praze. Dále řešení širších vazeb na struktury města a komunikačních tras v tomto území, které je dnes takřka neprostupné. V současné době jsou objekty značně schátralé a kromě chráněných objektů se v areálu depa a dílen nachází množství slepých kolejí, parkovacích stání a dočasných objektů. Závažným problémem lokality je jeho destrukce dopravními stavbami severo-jižní magistrály a vítkovské estakády. Projekt počítá se zachováním obou dopravních staveb z důvodu jejich nutnosti v dopravním skeletu města. Kladem lokality je její poloha v blízkosti historického centra Prahy a návaznost na historickou stopu královské cesty.	cs
