dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím metody benchmarkingu ve finančním řízení podniku. Jejím hlavním cílem je určením finanční pozice konkrétního podniku ve srovnání s průměrem v odvětví. Teoretická část je zaměřena na finanční řízení podniku, zejména na jeho hlavní oblasti a cíle. Pozornost je věnována finanční analýze a jejím metodám používaným v praktické části této práce. Následuje charakteristika metody benchmarkingu a možných českých i zahraničních zdrojů použitelných pro tuto metodu. V praktické části je představena zkoumaná firma Rodinný pivovar Bernard a analyzováno odvětví pivovarnictví, ve kterém tato firma operuje. Vybrané finanční ukazatele sledovaného podniku jsou pomocí metody benchmarkingu porovnávány s odvětvovým průměrem získaným z analýz Českého svazu pivovarů a sladoven, databáze Merk a benchmarkingového diagnostického systému INFA. V závěru jsou shrnuty zjištěné výsledky benchmarkingu finanční pozice pivovaru Bernard je silná a v porovnání s odvětvím dosahuje tato firma vynikajících výsledků. Zhodnocen je také přínos této práce, jehož hlavní část spočívá v úspěšné aplikaci metody benchmarkingu a prokázání, že finanční pozici firmy v rámci odvětví lze identifikovat pouze pomocí veřejných, nezpoplatněných zdrojů.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The diploma thesis deals with the use of benchmarking methods in financial management of a company. Its main objective is to determine the financial position of a particular company in comparison with industry average. The theoretical part is focused on financial management of a company, particularly on its basic concepts and objectives. Special attention is devoted to the financial analysis and its methods which are used in the practical part of this thesis. The thesis introduces an overview of benchmarking methods and their sources in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the practical part, the Bernard Family Brewery is introduced, and the brewing industry in which the company operates is analysed. Selected financial indicators of the company are compared with the industry averages obtained from analyses of the Czech Beer and Malt Association, Merk database and the benchmarking diagnostic system INFA by means of the benchmarking method. The conclusion summarizes the results of benchmarking financial position of the Bernard brewery is strong and in comparison with the industry, the company achieves excellent results. The main contribution of the thesis lies in the successful application of the method of benchmarking and the demonstration that the financial position of the company within the industry can be identified only through public, non-priced resources.	en
