Abstract
Tato práce zkoumá pojmy vzdělávání a kultivace lidství v kontextu současných kulturních změn, a to na základě teorie post-kultury George Steinera a jeho ontologie člověka jako ?jazykového zvířete?. Argumentuje, že tradiční pojetí lidství a vzdělávání je třeba ontologicky přehodnotit v reakci na události dvacátého století a následné změny v naší kulturní épistém? a že Steinerovo dílo je pro to inspirativním rámcem. Práce je strukturována podle tří vzdělávacích domén podle Biesty ? socializace, subjektivace a kvalifikace ? přičemž zdůrazňuje jejich vzájemné propojení. Nakonec práce nabízí několik praktických implikací pro realitu školní třídy v Evropě 21. století.
This thesis examines the concepts of education and the cultivation of humanity in the context of contemporary cultural changes, based on George Steiner?s theory of post-culture and his ontology of the human being as a ?language animal.? It argues that the traditional understanding of humanity and education needs to be ontologically reconsidered in response to the events of the twentieth century and the subsequent changes in our cultural épistém?, and that Steiner?s work provides an inspiring framework for this. The thesis is structured according to Biesta?s three educational domains ? socialization, subjectification, and qualification ? while emphasizing their interconnection. Finally, the thesis offers several practical implications for the reality of the classroom in twenty-first-century Europe.
