dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce bude pojednávat o židovské komunitě v Hořicích na přelomu 19. a 20. století, a to zejména od období formování novodobé obce v období emancipace až po 20. léta 20. století. Cílem práce je zmapovat úlohu židovské komunity v životě města. Pozornost se předně zaměří na vývoj místní komunity, její život a specifika. Dalším úkolem je podchycení památek připomínajících existenci hořické židovské komunity. Důležitou otázku představuje přínos komunity pro rozvoj města, proto se výzkum zaměří také na významné židovské rodiny. Práce vychází z bohaté pramenné základny, přičemž zásadní jsou archivní fondy města Hořice, okresního úřadu Hořice, Městského muzea v Hořicích, okresního úřadu Nová Paka, židovské obce náboženské Hořice a židovské školy Hořice. Z hlediska pohledu židovské obce budou důležité materiály Židovského muzea v Praze.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The bachelor thesis will focus on the Jewish community in Hořice during the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, particularly from the period of the formation of the modern community during the emancipation era to the 1920s. The aim of the thesis is to map the role of the Jewish community in the life of the town. Attention will primarily be focused on the development of the local community, its life, and specific characteristics. Another task is to capture the monuments commemorating the existence of the Jewish community in Hořice. An important question is the contribution of the community to the development of the town, so the research will also focus on significant Jewish families. The thesis is based on a rich source base, with the archival funds of the town of Hořice, the district office of Hořice, the Municipal Museum in Hořice, the district office of Nová Paka, the Jewish religious community of Hořice, and the Jewish school of Hořice being crucial. Materials from the Jewish Museum in Prague will also be important from the perspective of the Jewish community.	en
