Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopady Brexitu na zahraniční obchod Spojeného království. V teoretické části práce je vymezen pojem zahraničního obchodu, formy obchodní politiky a principy platební bilance. Dále se zaměřuje na samotný Brexit, jeho politický a historický kontext a přijaté dohody, které upravují novou podobu obchodních vztahů. Praktická část práce je založena na analýze vývoje zahraničního obchodu Spojeného království od roku 2009, přičemž jsou zkoumány trendy platební bilance, vývoj salda obchodní bilance a změny v teritoriální a komoditní struktuře vývozu a dovozu. Na základě této analýzy je následně provedena identifikace významných změn v zahraničním obchodě po Brexitu. Závěr práce shrnuje klíčové dopady a navrhuje možná opatření, která by mohla přispět k větší stabilitě a konkurenceschopnosti Spojeného království v nových podmínkách mezinárodního obchodu.
This bachelor's thesis examines the impact of Brexit on the UK's foreign trade. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of foreign trade, forms of trade policy and balance of payments principles. It then focuses on Brexit itself, its political and historical context and the agreements adopted to regulate the new shape of trade relations. The practical part of the thesis is based on an analysis of the UK's external trade since 2009, examining trends in the balance of payments, the evolution of the balance of trade balance and changes in the territorial and commodity structure of exports and imports. This analysis is then used to identify significant changes in foreign trade post-Brexit. The final part of the thesis summarizes the main impacts and proposes possible measures that could contribute to greater stability and competitiveness of the United Kingdom under the new conditions of international trade.
