Abstract
1. Renovační dílny (lakovna, sklad materiálů, servis a renovace historických vozidel, karosářské práce)
2. Kanceláře a multifunkční prostory pro besedy, workshopy a vzdělávání.
3. Muzeum (expozice motocyklů, pohonů, letectví, vojenská a civilní expozice).
4. Digital detox retreat.
5. Vestavba jednoduchého ubytování pro majitele elektrárny.
6. Gastronomický provoz
The diploma thesis deals with the conversion of the former steam power plant in Andělská Hora near Chrastava into an auto-moto museum and a new recreational and educational centre. The aim is to exhibit the lifetime collection of historical vehicles of the Nejedlý brothers, to make it accessible to the public and to support its further development and educational potential. The project is not based on a specific brief, but on our own interest in the subject. The area in question is located in northern Bohemia, approximately 6 km northwest of Liberec. The power station in Andělská Hora, or also the Andělka Power Station, came into operation in 1914, the building consists of a substation, engine room and boiler room No. I. In 1923 it was extended in the northern part by boiler room No. 2 and a tower. In 1966, the plant was shut down and served as a heating plant for several years. Today it serves as a warehouse. The main theme is the division of the existing steam plant building into several new functional units that will ensure the future sustainability and viability of this historic industrial structure. The landscaping will propose the revitalisation of the outdoor open space for public events or temporary accommodation (camping), an outdoor vintage car exhibition and associated events and the conversion of the ancillary buildings on the former power station site into a vehicle depository and camping facilities. Space will be designed in the existing building for these functions: 1. renovation workshops (paint shop, materials storage, servicing and renovation of historic vehicles, body work) 2. offices and multifunctional spaces for meetings, workshops and education. 3. Museum (motorcycles, drives, aviation, military and civil exhibitions). 4. Digital detox retreat. 5. Building simple accommodation for the owner of the power station. 6. restaurant Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
