dc.description.abstractThis thesis deals with residential, commercial and sport-recreation suburbanization in the agglomeration area of Liberec and evaluates the development and severity from fall of the communist regime to the present. The natural, social and historical context is also not omitted. Pivotal chapters describe the effects of particular forms of suburbanization on the environment and specific changes in landscape structure. In general, this thesis also examines the actual causes of the onset of suburbanization in the Czech Republic and puts it into context with similar trends abroad, especially in the U.S. and Western Europe.en
dc.description.abstractPráce se zabývá rezidenční, komerční a sportovně-rekreační suburbanizací v prostoru liberecké aglomerace a hodnotí jejich vývoj i intenzitu od pádu komunistického režimu do současnosti. Opomenuty nejsou výchozí přírodní, sociální a historické souvislosti, na jejichž základech se tento trend na Liberecku projevuje. Stěžejní kapitoly popisují především dopady jednotlivých forem suburbanizace na životní prostředí a konkrétní změny v krajinné struktuře. V obecné rovině tato práce také rozebírá samotné příčiny nástupu suburbanizace v České republice a klade je do souvislostí s obdobnými trendy v zahraničí, především v USA a Západní Evropě.cs
