Abstract
Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na hodnocení finanční situace hotelu Hilton Prague, který působí v oblasti cestovního ruchu. Cílem práce je zhodnotit finanční situaci tohoto podniku v letech 2021-2023 a na základě výsledků finanční analýzy navrhnout opatření pro zlepšení jeho finančního zdraví. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny základní pojmy a metody finanční analýzy, které slouží k hodnocení výkonnosti podniku. V praktické části je nejprve představen hotel Hilton Prague, následně je provedena podrobná analýza hotelu Hilton Prague, která zahrnuje výpočet a interpretaci vybraných finančních ukazatelů, včetně ukazatelů rentability, likvidity, zadluženosti a aktivity. Součástí práce je také porovnání s konkurenčním hotelem, které poskytuje širší kontext pro hodnocení výkonnosti Hilton Prague. Na závěr práce jsou shrnuty výsledky analýzy a navržena doporučení, která mohou přispět ke zlepšení finanční situace hotelu.
This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of Hilton Prague, a hotel operating in the tourism sector. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of this company in the years 2021-2023 and based on the results of the financial analysis to propose measures to improve its financial health. The work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part presents the basic concepts and methods of financial analysis used to evaluate the performance of the enterprise. The practical part first introduces the Hilton Prague hotel, followed by a detailed analysis of the Hilton Prague hotel, which includes the calculation and interpretation of selected financial ratios, including profitability, liquidity, debt and activity ratios. The paper also includes a comparison with a competitor hotel, which provides a broader context for evaluating the performance of Hilton Prague. The paper concludes by summarizing the results of the analysis and suggesting recommendations that can help improve the hotel's financial position.
