Abstract
This work is dealing with the topic of tumours of colon and their treatment. The aim of this pursuit is to inform the public about this particular illness and to map how the public is informed about the screening investigation of colon with a focus on occult bleeding. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is dealing with an anatomical description of colon and it is holding forth on a general physiology of colon. The second chapter is dealing with tumours and their treatment. And the third chapter emphasizes the current situation in occurrence of tumours in the Czech Republic, its efforts and desirable prevention against the tumours of colon. The practical part is dealing with a methodology of development, a characteristic of an investigative sample and an analysis of the obtained data. Within the discussion there are evaluated and annotated the given hypotheses. In the conclusion there is mentioned the recapitulation of the research together with a recommendation for the real experience. The research was done by random selection among the public of the age group above 50.
Tématem bakalářské práce jsou nádory tlustého střeva a jejich léčba. Práce si klade za cíl zjistit informovanost laické veřejnosti o problematice tohoto onemocnění a zmapovat informovanost o screeningovém vyšetření tlustého střeva na okultní krvácení. Teoretická část je členěna do třech kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje anatomickému popisu tlustého střeva a obecně rozebírá fyziologii tlustého střeva. Druhá kapitola se zabývá nádorovým onemocněním tlustého střeva a jeho léčbou. Třetí kapitola zdůrazňuje současnou situaci výskytu nádorů tlustého střeva v České republice, depistážní programy a preventivní opatření vůči nádorům tlustého střeva. Praktická část se věnuje metodice výzkumu, charakteristice výzkumného vzorku a analýze získaných dat. V diskuzi jsou zhodnoceny a komentovány stanovené hypotézy a v závěru je uvedeno celkové shrnutí výzkumu s doporučením pro praxi. Výzkum byl prováděn namátkovým výběrem laické veřejnosti s věkovou hranicí nad 50 let.
