The bachelor thesis deals with the proceedings of the Penalty finding commission at Turnov during its first retribution period 1946 - 1947. The first theoretical part of the thesis deals with the genesis of retribution orders and penalty finding commissions. The second part describes directly the Penalty finding commission at Turnov. It is dedicated to the characteristics of the commission and its proceedings, typology of offences and punishments and description of selected cases. The attachment contains a list of accused persons, sentenced by the Penalty finding commission at Turnov during defined period. A significant part of the thesis is based upon analyses of archive materials, which are deposited in the State District Archives Semily.
