    Globální hospodářská transformace Indie a výzvy pro mikroekonomické subjekty

    This master thesis deals with global economic transformation of India and challenges for micro-economic entities. The fundamental part of the work is dedicated to the analysis and evaluation of the current Indian economic situation through the main macro-economic indexes, to its trade policy and investment environment. One part of this work also focuses on general characteristics of the country such as its demographic situation and history since 1947 (achievement of independence from Great Briatain) until nowadays. In the context of globalization, the introduction of an important Czech automotive company Škoda Auto a. s., to the Indian market may be seen as closely related to the attractiveness of this country perceived by foreign investors. The final part of this work is devoted to the activities of Škoda Auto a. s. in India and provides information about the suitability of the Indian market in terms of investment opportunities.
