    Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Euklidovým algoritmem a pojmy, které s ním souvisí. Práce se skládá z devíti kapitol, v každé je popsána teorie k danému problému a uveden minimálně jeden příklad. Některé kapitoly jsou doplněny o historickou poznámku. Cílem práce je poskytnout přehled o Euklidově algoritmu, jaký je jeho význam, jak a kde se dá využít a co je s ním spojené.

    Základy kvaternionů v algebře a geometrii

    The bachelor work describes the history and the development of complex numbers, quaternions and related biquaternions and dual quaternions. It presents the basic properties of quaternions, points to an analogy and differences in comparsion with complex numbers and shows different ways to introduce quaternions. It offers a brief discussion of the special equations in this division ring and gives a few examples. The work points to the possibility of using quaternions in the calculations of rotation, which is illustrated on several simple examples and it mentions a connection with special orthogonal matrices. Finally, the work describes some features of quaternion groups.
