    In the introduction of this diploma work the principal aim is specified, which is the reduction of the employee fluctuation in the company LIGUM Ltd., by focusing on the recruitment and the employee appraisal in this company. The theoretical part describes the conditions influencing the interest in the free working station, the possible resources of employees, the process of recruitment and selection of employees. The next chapter is concerned mainly with the process of the employee appraisal and with the methods of their appraisal. Obtained theoretical knowledges are later applied to this company. The analysis of these two activities is carried out and the deficiencies of recruitment and employee appraisal are identified. In the following parts of this diploma work the methods of solutions are suggested, which should contribute to an improvement of these personnel activities in the company LIGUM Ltd.
