    The aim of my bachelor?s thesis is to find out how the male identity has changed, especially with regard to the father?s role. The transformation of male identity has been considerably influenced by the rise of feminist thought. Due to that the traditional male role and its attendant values were challenged and weakened. I have tried to address this problem with respect to the changes in society, for instance with regard to the industrial revolution. Father is an important part of a family and the transformation of his role has a significant impact on him and his offspring alike which affects future of all of us.
