    This baccalaureate thesis addresses the issues associated with adoption. The objective of the thesis is to determine the course of the adoption process and the chances for success in the case of couples as compared to individuals. A sub-objective was to determine the demands encountered during the adoption process and the course of the adoption process when the child?s mother is at liberty and the father is in prison. The thesis consists of two main sections. The empirical section presents a variety of professional sources describing and clarifying the basic terminology. It includes a discussion of the relevant legislation, different types of adoption and the adoption process, foster families, and factors that influence the chances of adopting. The empirical section is focused on determining the actual situation with regard to adoption. It was prepared using a questionnaire survey. The collected data was subsequently organised into tables and graphs and supplemented with appropriate commentaries. The conclusions from the survey show that married couples have the greatest chance of successfully adopting a child. The applicants consider the entire process to be extremely demanding from the psychological perspective. Interviews were also used to examine situations when the biological father is in prison and the majority of mothers offer their child for adoption without the father?s consent. The findings from the interviews are described in a separate chapter of the empirical section. The results from the empirical section have been used to formulate specific recommended measures addressing the relevant legislation, laws and the approach that social workers use towards clients. The primary contribution of this thesis is the fact that it confirms the preliminary assumptions and provides evidence that changes must be made within the field of adoption.

    Alkohol jako sociálně-patologický jev u pubescentů

    Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou zneužívání alkoholu na vybraných základních školách a vycházela ze současných postojů dnešních pubescentů k alkoholu. Cílem práce bylo popsat a zjistit stav zneužívání alkoholu u věkové kategorie pubescentů. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. V teoretické části byly pomocí zpracování odborných zdrojů definovány pojmy pubescent, postoje pubescentů a sociálně-patologické jevy. V závěru teoretické části byl vysvětlen pojem alkoholismus a závislost na něm. V další části bakalářské práce bylo využito kvantitativního průzkumu tedy dotazníku vlastní konstrukce. Pomocí dotazníku bylo zjišťováno zneužívání alkoholu na základní škole. Výsledky ukazovaly, že nejčastěji užívají alkohol pubescenti mezi svými vrstevníky. Zjištění vyústila v navrhovaná opatření prevence zneužívání alkoholu pubescenty. Největším přínosem práce bylo možné považovat zjištění, že na dané základní škole je zneužívání alkoholu velmi významný problém a je potřeba se tímto problémem zabývat.

    This Bachelor thesis deals with the forms, causes, dependencies, and especially the theories related to alcohol. The main aim was to clarify how the homeless live, and not only the physical and legal, but mainly social. The work is divided into two parts.In the theoretical part, the definition, defining the target group, described the emergence of homelessness, the cause of homelessness, addiction and homelessness related to alcohol. The aim is to describe the theoretical and practical reasons, factors, forms, problems of homelessness and alcohol abuse.The practical part through the introduction describes the research methodology, determining the conditions and not among the final interpretation of the results of the research.

    The thesis deals with the issue of homelessness in Liberec and is based on the current state of research in the area using a qualitative approach. The goal of the project is to analyse the problem of the homelessness in the territory of the city of Liberec while taking delinquency of the homeless into the account and considering the possibilites of reintegrating homeless people into the society. The thesis consists of two core parts. The first, theoretical part focuses on basic terminology, classifications, forms, causes and risks related to homelessness by processing the presentation made by specialised sources. Furthermore, this part also defines cases when homelessness can be seen as a deviance, details the link between homelessness and criminality, and sugests reintegration options. The practical part examines the most frequent causes of homelessness, reintegration of the homeless and the relativity of crime to being homeless using the standardised interview recording sheet answered by the total of 22 respondents. The results show that the most common causes of homelessness are job loss or loss of housing, financial indebtedness and alcohol addiction. In regards to the possiblities of reintegration, the thesis shows that the homeless use the services of the Liberec refugee house and the daily center Naděje to a large extent, but they also admit comitting misdemeanors under the weight of their life situation. The findings result in concrete proposed solutions in area of prevention of homelessness, namely by creating qualification programs for the purpose of obtaining jobs, developing training courses and seminars, educating regarding alcoholism and criminality. In addition, next form of solutions with the support of the city Liberec can be creating social rental housing out of abandoned and dilapidated building and better informing the society about the issue of homelessness. As the greatest contribution of the thesis could be considered findings that homelessness is a major problem in Liberec and should be dealt with accordingly by the whole society.

    Demografické charakteristiky bezdomovců

    Bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem bezdomovství. Cílem práce bylo zmapování demografických charakteristik u bezdomovců v okrese Česká lípa, klientů azylového domu Dům humanity v České Lípě. Práci tvoří dvě stěžejní části, teoretická a praktická. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na zpracování příčin bezdomovství. Pojednává o rozdělení bezdomovců a o faktorech a příčinách, které bezdomovství způsobují. V práci jsou také popsány největší problémy bezdomovců, jako je nezaměstnanost, závislost a kriminalita nebo špatný zdravotní stav. Praktická část je zaměřena na zmapování demografických charakteristik u bezdomovců v okrese Česká Lípa, klientů azylového domu Dům humanity v České Lípě. Údaje jsou získány prostřednictvím studia dokumentace - byla provedena analýza spisové dokumentace klientů azylového domu Dům humanity v České Lípě za rok 2007. Získaná data byla vyhodnocena pomocí přehledných tabulek a grafů. V závěru jsou zhodnoceny předem stanovené cíle, posouzeny předpoklady práce a prezentována konkrétní navrhovaná opatření.

    Domácí násilí - osobnost pachatele

    Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou domácího násilí, konkrétně osobou pachatele domácího násilí a vycházela ze současné právní úpravy domácího násilí. Jejím cílem bylo ověřit sociální prostředí rodin, ve kterých se nejčastěji s problematikou domácího násilí setkáváme a dále ověřit stále se stupňující charakter domácího násilí. Práci tvořily dvě strukturované oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která pomocí zpracování literárních pramenů popisovala a objasňovala problematiku domácího násilí a možné osobnostní charakteristiky pachatele domácího násilí. Praktická část zjišťovala pomocí metody studia dokumentace, osobní anamnézy a případně rodinné anamnézy pachatelů jejich psychosociální vývoj a stupňující se charakter aktů domácího násilí. Výsledky ukazovaly na složitost problematiky domácího násilí a vyúsťovaly v jediná možná opatření v oblasti prevence domácího násilí. Za největší přínos práce vzhledem k řešené problematice bylo možné považovat přiblížení tohoto jevu a objasnění nejčastějších příčin chování pachatelů domácího násilí.

    Domácí násilí jako sociální problém společnosti

    Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou obecně zvanou jako "domácí násilí", jeho dopadem na oběti a na jejich další život ve společnosti. Domácí násilí mění život všech obětí násilí a zasahuje do sociálního systému celé společnosti. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která pomocí zpracování a prezentace odborných zdrojů objasňovala vymezení jenotlivých pojmů násilí, legislativní vymezení domácího násilí v právním systému. Zabývala se obecnou charakteristikou všech týraných skupin a způsobem pomoci těmto skupinám. Praktická část byla rozdělena na dvě části, kde v první byly pomocí dotazníku zjišťovány v okrese Jablonec nad Nisou vědomosti občanů o domácím násilí, ve druhé byla pomocí studia a analýzy spisové dokumentace popsána struktura násilného chování v rodinách. V praktické části bylo sledováno období roku 2007, jednalo se o případy, ke kterým došlo v územní působnosti Okresního ředitelství Policie ČR v Jablonci nad Nsiou.

    Domácí násilí na ženách

    Obsahem bakalářské práce je problematika domácího násilí, které zastupuje významný sociální fenomén formy násilí rozšířený po celém světě. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní pojmy, které mají vztah k problematice domácího násilí. Praktická-výzkumná zjišťovala pomocí dotazníku názory 28 žen na domácí násilí ve Šluknovském výběžku, zejména jaký mají pohled ženy na různé nepřijatelné projevy chování v partnerských vztazích. Jakým způsobem by řešily situace, kdyby samy se setkaly s domácím násilím a dále nás zajímal jejich názor na legislativu a věnování se této problematice v České republice.

    The bachelor work ?Domestic Violence from the Standpoint of the Policeman? identifies the problem of domestic violence as a socially pathological phenomenon, which is presently attracting increasing attention.The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The former comprises four chapters, in which the issue is described in the wider theoretical framework and the key expressions such as domestic violence, the victim of domestic violence, the violent person/personality and the legal definition of domestic violence are given.The practical part is based on a research performed at the level of the police stations in the Czech Republic. The aim of the inquiry was to ascertain the foreknowledge and the attitude of the policemen towards the phenomenon called the domestic violence.

    Drogová problematika

    Bachelor task works up problems of drugs with youth. In the theoretical part of this work are worked up terms like habitude, misusing of legal and illegal drugs.What matter is belonging to this groups. In the introduction is brief outline of history.Follows, what leads individual person to misusing of habitutal matters and descent,which they have for youth. In the practical part of this work was by questionnaire find out, on which level is acquaintance about effects of legal and illgal drugs. Who informed people about consequences of misusing those matters. Part of the questions was aimed to adolescents, if they are misusing some of above named matters. Results confirmed one part of basic and partial presumptions. Other presumptions were not explicitely confirmed or were not confirmed at all. Theacquaintance of adolescents about effects of legal och illegal matters is very good. In spite of thisyoung people experiments with a lot of those matters either usually or exceptionaly. In conclusion is obvious, that work with problematic children is not easy, but under definite terms is solvable. Through the suitable activity of all parts inteerested in this matter we can get out or eliminate misusing of this matters.

    Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou drogové závislosti. Cílem práce bylo popsat účinky drog na organismus jedince, který je zneužívá, dále popis pachatelů drogových trestných činů, prostředí výroby a zneužívání drog a jejich rozšíření na území České republiky. V první části práce byla uvedena právní legislativa v oblasti drog a bylo provedeno rozdělení drog do základních skupin přičemž byly vymezeny ty, kterými se práce dále zabývala. Dále zde byla pomocí zpracování literárních pramenů uvedena charakteristika jednotlivých skupin drog a popis jejich účinků na osoby, které je zneužívají. V další části práce byl proveden popis pachatelů, prostředí výroby a prostředí zneužívání drog a to jak metodou zpracování dostupných materiálů tak vlastním pozorováním. Následující část práce uvedla a analyzovala dostupné statistiky týkající se zneužívání drog a jejich následků v České republice. Za přínos práce vzhledem k řešené problematice by se dalo považovat shrnutí popisu základních druhů drog, jejich účinků na osoby je zneužívající, pachatelů drogové kriminality a rozšíření drog na území České republiky.

    The bachelor´s dissertation concerns drug addiction, explains what drug is and how it affects human body, it deals with the gypsy population that is endangered with drug addiction and what is even more it also deals antidrug conception not only for majority society but also forgypsy population in the Czech Republic. Gypsy children attanding elementary school and the gypsy adults have been subsequently asked about drug usage in a questionnaire. Furthermore, the statistic compares rising drug consumption in our republic within 1989 – 2000.

    Drogová závislost jako kriminogenní faktor

    Theme of this barchelor work is the problem of drugs and drug dependence. It is devided into four main chapters. In the first chapter, which is the teoretic part are set some basic ideas of drug problems,division of drugs by some standards and also concise description of some legal and illegal the most used drogs. Second part of this chapter is focused on sociocultural milieu. Second main chapter, which is the practical part, is focused on investigation of effecting educational influence and sociocultural milieu. At the end of this chapter is analysed the validity or contradiction of the forehand determinated presumptions. In the third chapter, which is the final one are evaluated information investigated during this barchelor work. In the fourth chapter are also some measures, which could be convenient in solving this problems. This work includes list of used sources and list of enclosures too.

    Extremismus a jeho projevy v ČR

    The bachelor thesis dealed with problems of extremism in the Czech republic and its possibly threats for society and appeared from present piece of knowledeges in extremism district with a further view to actual problems of religious extremism. Its aim was to detect and show possibly risks for society in the Czech republic. Thesis was created by two focus areas. The theoretical one, which by means of compiling and presentation of revolting sources described and explained problems of extremism. A practical part found on the basis of analysis of accessible sources a present marital status of problems of extremism and its possible threats for our society. The results showed on long-termed fixed,favourable situation on extremism level. For the most important boon was the fact considered, that a number of the violent criminality with extremism level of violent character was getting down although the violent criminality of this mean grew up.

    This Bachelor Thesis deals with gambling of higher secondary school students. The objective of the work is to survey the contemporary situation and describe the gambling prevention in the Vocational School; Střední Odborná Škola a Střední Odborné Učiliště 28. října in Česká Lípa. This work contains two parts, theoretical and practical. The first, theoretical, part explains typical features of adolescence and socialisation of higher secondary school students. It defines the basic terms of gambling and sets diagnosis of pathological gambling. This part explains forms of gambling, the issue of addiction and the possibilities of treatment, including the prevention of this issue. In the second part, practical, a questionnaire is used on 63 students who have some experiences with gambling. It analyses the types of gambling activities and the personal attitudes of the pupils to their gambling. The questionnaire inquiries whether the students consider themselves as addicted and whether they can obtain enough preventive care at school. As the second investigative method there is used interview with some teachers about the situation of gambling in their school. The results are presented on charts, graphs and comments. The objective of the research is to gather information about the contemporary situation of gambling and preventive care in the Střední Odborná Škola a Střední Odborné Učiliště 28. října. The whole summary of this Batchelor thesis is mentioned in the conclusion and there are suggested some strengthening steps of gambling primary prevention.

    Jedinec s poruchou chování

    Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou poruch chování a vycházela ze současného stavu, kdy se aktuálně o této problematice, respektive až o kriminalitě dětí a mládeže, čím dál tím častěji hovoří. Tato oblast dospěla až do stadia, kdy se diskutuje i o snížení věkové hranice trestní odpovědnosti. Jejím cílem bylo objasnit příčiny poruch chování a možnosti jejich prevence. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jednalo se o část teoretickou, která pomocí zpracování a prezentace odborných zdrojů objasňovala vznik, příčiny poruch chování, dělení poruch chování a možnou prevenci. Praktická část zjišťovala pomocí dotazníku, že respondenti s poruchami chování z 60 % pochází z rodin, které vykazují poruchy některých základních funkcí a prevence poruch chování je z 50 % na nedostačující úrovni. Dále byl předpoklad, že nad 50 % respondentů bude vykazovat více jak dva znaky asociálního chování v dětském věku do patnácti let. Výsledky ukazovaly příčiny a možnosti, kdy a za jakých podmínek může dojít u jedince k poruchovému chování, a vyúsťovaly v konkrétní navrhovaná opatření v oblasti prevence a nápravy poruch chování. Za největší přínos práce, vzhledem k řešené problematice je možné považovat, že rodina má zjevně rozhodující vliv na dítě od početí a pokud funguje, je schopna korigovat jeho vývoj.
