- ItemPraktické využití induktivního přístupu při výuce anglické gramatiky(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2008) Tůma, František; Příšovská, LucieThis diploma thesis deals with practical implementation of the inductive approach to teaching English grammar by means of student-centered presentations in which the students themselves discover the grammar rules. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the principles, preparation and use of the inductive grammar presentations. The research project was conducted in the sixth form at a basic school. Fifteen pupils were taught grammar inductively for three months. The practical part includes four detailed lesson plans that illustrate different contexts and discovery techniques that were used. In the end the students‟ knowledge and ability to use the grammar were tested. Reflections after each lesson, the final test and the feedback questionnaire have shown that the pupils were actively involved in the grammar presentations and acquired the grammar structures properly.
- ItemRole aktivit zařazených po čtení příběhu v hodinách AJ u dětí mladšího školního věku(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2012) Medonosová, Marta; Příšovská, LucieThe thesis deals with using the storytelling in EFL classes in Primary School. The theoretical part outlines values of the narrative method during children´s life and mentions the consequent benefits brought to English lessons. It deals with problems of understanding and the potentional factors of influence. It focuses on phase after telling the story that it describes. The methodological part describes the procedure of handling the story and offers a brief summary of activities. Regarding the theoretical studies of literature and finding the conditions for the implementation of the practical part a project is here with propřed along with the plans of lessons indicating the activities following the telling of the story. The aim of the project is to verify these activities helping to understand the story, to develop the language skills and promote child´s imagination and social development. The conclusion of the thesis presents an analysis of the results.

- ItemVyužití dětské literatury pro rozvoj dovedností čtení v hodinách anglického jazyka(Technická Univerzita v Liberci, 2012) Stolinová, Petra; Příšovská, LucieThe diploma thesis is based on developing reading skills through children´s literature in EFL classes. In the theoretical part, there are discussed general characteristics of reading, process of reading and skills that can be developed by using children´s literature. There are also general characteristics of children´s literature and its benefits for the language and students. In the practical part, the theory is compared to the practical research that was made during the English lessons. The lesson plans and the texts that were used are presented together with all analyses, suggestions and problems that might occur.

Základem je popsat dramatickou výchovu jako školní předmět, její hlavní principy, techniky a důvody proč by měly být použity v edukačním procesu. Následně jsou vyjmenované určité techniky a popsána možná aplikace v hodinách anglického jazyka.
