    The Bachelor thesis describes an attitude of the society to disabled people not only from historical point of view, but also in a context of the contemporary modern society. This thesis deals with an integration of handicapped people into the society. It is aimed to families with a disabled child whose handicap appeared before the age of three years describes parent?s reactions to the situation that they have a handicapped child and changes of their lifestyle.Then main purpose of this thesis is to completely describe problems of these families and find out what possibilities they have in a social care area.The Bachelor thesis has two main parts:The first theoretical part is based on a professional literature, a professional resources and a valid legislation.The second part is practical and is based on the survey ? 20 mothers of handicapped children took a part in it. There is included the casuistry of a family for better understanding of this issue. This family looks after a child who is affected by a cerebral palsy.
