    Rozměrové změny bavlněných tkanin v důsledku praní

    The thesis deals with the changes of proportions of cotton textile fabric after having been washed. The first part of the thesis introduces partial mechanisms of the proportional changes due to action of humidity, which has influence on the final proportion of the fabric. Then the study deals with the method how to prevent the shrinkage of fabric, which is called sanforization. The experimental part is focused on the verification of regularity of the compression shrinkage effect on cotton fabric, which was supplied by Velveta Ltd. Varnsdorf. Another task was to set proportion stability in the repeated custom wash. Conclusions are made on the basis of the measuring of the proportionl changes of the fabric samples in the repeated home washing and consequent statistic evaluation.
