    This bachelor thesis focuses on substitutional family care, mainly on foster care.The goal was to detect how the foster care is being executed in institutional systems. The thesis focused on children?s opinions of this issue.The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part and empiric part. The theoretical part deals with basic concepts in the foster care area, the history of institutional education and the legislative provision in this area. Next section of the theoretical part deals with oddness of children?s psychological development where the institutional upbringing has been ordered.The practical part detected how the foster care is being implemented in school institutions. It also, by using non-standard questionnaire, mapped out children?s opinion regarding foster care issue.In the closure of the thesis, all factors that influence the unsuccessfulness of implementation of the foster care in each creche, has been defined.Detected pieces of knowledge showed the issue of implementation of the foster care in institutional practices.
