    In the theoretical part of my work I targeted the history of musicotherapy which reaches to the earliest times. I also concentrated on the methodology of Music teaching at the elementary school. I described forms and elements of musicotherapy, the subject, aim and content. The definition that varies in different countries is important too. Musical instruments are a very significant part of musicotherapy as well. In the end of the theoretical work I described the possibilities and spheres of applying musicotherapy. In the practical part I used questionnaires for teachers and I tried to find out how they teach music and whether they know what musicotherapy means. In the questionnaires for pupils I focused on the popularity of Music teaching with pupils and on activities which pupils practise and like during lessons. I also created a list of musical games that are suitable for pupils at elementary schools. Most of them I tried with pupils myself. Through the use of games I made sure that the games can positively influence the relation to music and contribute to the development of co-operation among pupils.
