RICH-1 detector of the COMPASS experiment at CERN on the SPS accelerator is a radiation detector of Cherenkov device, using C4F10 gas as the active medium, which produces Cherenkov effect. The RICH-1 detector consists of two reflective spherical surfaces, composed of pentagonal and hexagonal mirrors located inside the detector with a total area of 21 square meters located in the detector. Furthermore, the detection surface of Cherenkov radiation. The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the correction of the position of Cherenkov rings disgruntling individual RICH-1 detector mirrors. Simulations were carried out in an optical computer software Zemax. In non-sequential mode different sources of radiation were tested. Then the most suitable one was selected and optimized. Putting the radiation sources together a grid was created. The grid represents a reflective grid, which is used in a real experiment. Further simulations were performed, followed by appropriate placement of hexagonal and pentagonal spherical mirrors in the system of coordination. Much of the work pays attention to optimizing the singlet (converging lens) and the optical system, herein represented by a lens that is in the RICH-1 detector used to capture images of the reflecting the grid on the mirror wall. The final part was the detector simulation and optimization of detector as a sensing chip. Full detector simulation with all the special features were very demanding on computer hardware. Database Zemaxu unfortunately has limited the type of light source, so they were made part of the detector simulation RICH-1.
