    Problematika prestiže učitelů v kontextu k zahraničí

    The Diploma Thesis "The Problems of Teacher?s Prestige in the Context of Abroad Countries" deals with the prestige of teachers in the Czech Republic and abroad. The thesis is focused on analysis of teacher?s prestige in a society and the factors influencing this in a comparison with foreign countries. The first part deals with the definition of a prestige and influencing factors. In the second part there is an attempt to indicate the prestige of Czech teachers in historical context. The third part familiarizes us with the situation of Czech teachers and teachers of selected foreign countries, namely in Poland and England.
