The overall objective of this study is to investigate a relationship between internal factors (gender, age, official position) and external factors of job satisfaction (quality of the organization and its leadership, job characteristics, working conditions, working environment, fellow-workers, superiors, a possibility of self-actualization, a possibility of development, financial remuneration, bonuses).Furthermore, to investigate overall job satisfaction depending upon internal factors of job satisfaction. The approach used in this research is a case study of a Czech company that carries business in a construction machinery field. The total number of employees in the company is 65. The combination of two research methods was used. The purpose of using a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview in this study was to obtain two different views on the situation in the company concerning job satisfaction, both on the part of employees and on the part of managing director. Data gained from questionnaires was analysed using statistical computer software SPSS. The answers to thirty-three questions from the questionnaire were analysed using descriptive statistics and the T-tests. It is recommended to carry out a research concerning employees{\crq} job satisfaction regularly within the company. By the means of repeated researches the company can continually develop alternatives for the implementation of new proposals to eliminate job dissatisfaction.
