    Graduation theses presents basic pieces of information about a Protected landscape area of Kokořínsko, a geologic and geomorphological characteristic of the studied territory. The main part comprises a geomorphological atlas of a sandstone relief with own photographs of particular forms which makes up a separate supplement. Furthermore the work deals with using of the geomorphological atlas, above all in lessons at primary school.

    Geologická sbírka hornin pro potřeby výuky geografie v okrese Česká Lípa.

    The aim of this thesis is to create a didactic aid which will be used by pupils in primary schools. Pupils will have a chance to compare their knowledge obtained at school with their real life experiences; they will learn how to use rocks in practice. The thesis consists of eight chapters. The first two chapters focus on the mothods employed in the thesis and on setting the goals. The next three chapters are theoretically oriented and define geomorphology and geologic area. The following chapters present the regional collection of rocks, followed by the didactic use of this collection in geography lessons. Appendices contain geologic maps of the region Česká Lípa with drawings indicating locations where the rocks were collected and the photo-documentation taken.

    The creation of a didactic aid for teaching at the elementary school is the main purpose of this diploma paper. It could serve as a guide some instruction for determination of rocks, their origin and usage. The chapter layout is unwinded from that direction. In the opening chaps we will introduce us to literature, methods and aims. Furthemore, we will inform us about an area of interest and its geomorphology relations. An extensive chap is about some geology process and a structure of the bedrock. Next chap includes the geologic rock collection with picture documentation and certainly a didactic usage in geography lessons. It may not miss the geology map of Semily district.

    This diploma thesis is focused on the geological development in the area of Trutnov. The result is the geological collection of rocks which are characteristic for this certain area. There is also part with mineralogical interesting. It can be used in many subjects as a teaching method, which should function as a vizualizace and for understanding the theory. This thesis consists of 2 parts, one is theoritical and 1 practical. These 2 parts include 16 chapters. This whole thesis is in context with maps, which shows and summarize the main principles of this thesis. The effective usage of collection is mentioned in the didactical part.

    Geomorfologický atlas tvarů pískovcového reliéfu Prachovských skal

    The diploma thesis presents a brief survey of the territory of the Prachov Rocks nature reserve with the focus on geomorphological shapes of the sandstone relief. The main purpose of the thesis is making a summary of geomorphological shapes on that interest territory. After collecting the data in the terrain, photodocumentation and territory mapping, a geomorphological atlas of selected representative shapes was created which is a separate supplement of the thesis. It gives basic characteristics of the whole territory and provides general information about the geomorphological shapes and specific evidence to individual representatives. Part of the thesis is also a suggestion of taking advantage of that atlas in the school environment.

Department of Geography. Supervisor Mgr. Ing. Hendrych, T. In geography teaching there is often a lack of suitable support materials. During higher grades od basic schools the teacher often touches a topic like local geology, local landscape, etc. for which there are no universal materials due to big diversity of Czech landscape, and thus it is the teacher who has to look for them provide them to pupils. The aim of this project is to create an illustrated atlas which could serve as such a support material, not only at local schools but also elsewhere where the topic sand stone relief is involved. The method of this project is field docummentation via photography and drawings in selected places and following processing of the data in graphic and text editors and GIS. The key outcome of the project is the atlas itself.

    The aim of this dissertation is to complete a proposal of terrain disciplines in places all over the Czech Republic where, so far, the Geography department has not undertaken terrain disciplines. The Broumov headland with its rock towns was therefore chosen due to excellent conditions, offering a whole spectrum of activities which this dissertation describes. The diploma work firstly includes the characteristic of this region where the exercises will take place. The main part is made up of a program proposal of the individual days and their filling. A work sheet is created for each day and attention is also paid to the methodology part of this work, which should also create its foundation stone.

    Vliv cestovního ruchu na Černou horu a okolí

    Tato diplomová práce se zabývá aktuální otázkou trvale udržitelného rozvoje a udržitelného cestovního ruchu. Středem zájmu je město Janské Lázně a turisticky využívaná Černá hora. Turistický ruch negativně ovlivňuje citlivé horské ekosystémy a stává se neúnosným pro životní prostředí. Cílem této práce bylo analyzování antropogenního tlaku na životní prostředí s pomocí vlastních znalostí zkoumaného území a rovněž z pohledu turisty, včetně diskusí s odborníky Správy KRNAP a majiteli skiareálu. Největší pozornost je věnována vlivům cestovního ruchu na stav přírodního prostředí oblasti národního parku. Použité metody zahrnují rešerše dostupných literárních, statistických a dalších pramenů, terénní krajinně ekologický průzkum. Během pobytu v obci a skiareálu v době nejvyšší návštěvnosti byly provedeny jednoduché výpočty, které potvrdily překročení limitu počtu lyžařů na sjezdovkách. Zvyšování tohoto tlaku narušuje nejen přírodu, ale také vnímání dané oblasti lidmi. Dále bylo zjištěno neustálé zvyšování počtu uživatelů území, které vede k překročení meze únosnosti životního prostředí v rámci trvale udržitelného rozvoje. Byla potvrzena domněnka, že je tato mez již překročena. V zájmu všech by se měla tato expanze regulovat či úplně pozastavit. Řešení tohoto problému je nastíněno ve formě vize budoucích let, kdy je turistický ruch usměrňován v souladu s životním prostředím.
