    The aim of this diploma thesis is to explore the influence of Media on our most vulnerable generation, which are children and youth. Thesis analyses particular media types, their origin and influence on the society. Next chapters are focused on evolution of single human child and impact of family and Media on children. Practical part of this thesis is dedicated to the research which explore the influence of Media on children of pre-school age and children visiting the elementary school. A part of this work is a survey and its results interpretation. The goal is to detect the volume of Media impact on exploring children group, to find the factor which is the most influencing children in their behavior, decision making and how can media agency profit on it. As a conclusion of this thesis is a list of possible prevention of negative Media influence on children, from three sides, from family, school and government. Used literature is mainly dedicated to marketing, media, education and psychology.
