The sale's methods of insurance services are different than in the other business sectors. There are not offered tangible products to a consumer but services. There are many kinds of insurance services and kinds of their sale on the market. We divide the sale's methods into two groups: direct and indirect. The direct sale's methods are the selling on a counter and alternative sale's methods, by which are meant mostly the sale by the internet and by a phone. This part is intensively developing. The indirect kinds of the insurance sale are selling by cooperation partners and mediate sale. The legal regulation of the insurance mediation activity was recently substantially changed in the Czech Republic because of participation in the European Union and results of changes are gradually appearing.
