    The Bachelor thesis dealed with the matters of state social support benefits for people in material need. The aim was to elicit the most frequent reasons for getting benefits respecting people applying for them at Municipality in Cvikov, Staff Welfare Department, and being users for more than one year. The thesis was divided in two main domains. The theoretical part described mentioned problems and related topics via dealing and presentation of proffessional sources. The chapters deal with social policy, social security system, unemployment and assistence in material need. The practical part includes setting conditions, specifications of selective group, used working methods and acquired information analysis. The matter of this part is the analysis of selective group questionnaires, related to few spheres. Particularly to willing and motivation to work for minimal monthly wage, improve qualification to increase possibilities of getting a new job, do service in general interest.There were elicited information about linguistry, computing and working years of respondents. The research results led in particular proposed arrangements.
